Find the problem
Examine the real processes, personnel collaboration, data and system constraints, and clarify the responsible persons, value baselines and priority scenarios.

The difficulty of enterprise AI is not to purchase models or platforms separately, but to put business judgment, application construction, system constraints and user adoption in the same chain of responsibility. FDE is the organizer of this chain of responsibility.
Kumo FDENot your average pre-sales, project manager, on-site development, or after-sales support. It requires engineering personnel to enter the business site in advance, understand the processes, users, systems and indicators, quickly form verifiable applications, and continuously promote production operations.
What customers face is not separate consulting, product, development, implementation and operation and maintenance suppliers, but a joint team coordinated by Shenzhen Cloud FDE and responsible for the same business results.
Each stage sets clear entry conditions, deliverables and continued investment judgment to avoid the project becoming only a demonstration prototype.
Examine the real processes, personnel collaboration, data and system constraints, and clarify the responsible persons, value baselines and priority scenarios.
Output: scenario priority, business indicators, data and interface listBuild a limited-scope operable version to allow real users to complete a complete work task.
Output: usable prototype, user feedback, production planAccess knowledge, systems and permissions, and establish mechanisms for evaluation, monitoring, manual review and exception handling.
Output: production applications, governance rules, acceptance resultsContinuously track usage and business metrics, and reuse connectors, knowledge rules, and evaluation criteria to more scenarios.
Output: operational reports, optimization plans, reused assetsKumo integrates business discovery, application development, Tencent Cloud production access, evaluation management and operation expansion into the same service mechanism.
Identify high-frequency, high-cost business problems with clear ownership and measurable ownership.
Clarify target users, task boundaries, data conditions, manual collaboration and acceptance methods.
Coordinate the Kumo engineering team to develop Agent, Workflow, knowledge base and tool capabilities based on ADP.
Connect WorkBuddy, enterprise systems, identity permissions, and Tencent Cloud production environments.
Establish accuracy, stability, security, cost and business effectiveness measurements.
Track real adoption and business results, continuously optimize and replicate to more processes.
To determine whether it belongs to FDE, it does not depend on whether there are people present, but whether the team jointly defines the problem, completes the production closed loop, and is responsible for continued adoption.
Kumo precipitates on-site experience into manageable, verifiable, and reusable enterprise AI assets.
Scenario priorities, process descriptions, business indicators, application roles and acceptance rules.
Agent, Workflow, connector, knowledge structure, interface and permission configuration.
Evaluation set, safety boundary, manual review, monitoring and exception handling mechanism.
Use data, feedback mechanisms, optimization plans, and subsequent scenario replication conditions.
Help business, technology and management teams determine whether this service approach is suitable for the current project.
FDE is the abbreviation of Forward Deployed Engineer. Kumo adopts the Chinese term "pre-deployment engineer", which refers to the core role of entering customer business sites, connecting business and engineering teams, and promoting AI from problem definition to production adoption.
Not equivalent. Being onsite is just a place to work, the key to an FDE is taking responsibility for problem definition, cross-team coordination, rapid builds, production go-live, and ongoing adoption.
It is suitable for enterprise AI projects that have clear business value but have not yet fully defined requirements, need to connect multiple systems and teams, and require continuous operation and expansion after going online.
Typically involves business leaders, frontline users, technology or data leaders. Kumo FDE will form a joint team with these roles and the Kumo Engineering team.
FDE is a delivery mechanism that also requires application development, user portals and development platforms to support it.
